Mrs. Alexandre Chartier

A lengthy illness terminated in the passing at her home, 157 King Edward avenue, yesterday, of Mrs. Alexandre Chartier, a resident of the Ottawa district all her life. She was in her 31st year. The funeral will be held on Saturday morning from the parlors of the Racine funeral home, 127 George street, to the Basilica for requiem high mass at eight o'clock. Burial will be at St. Paul's cemetery, Aylmer. The former Emilienne Charbonneau. she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adelard Charbonneau of Eastview, where she received her education. She married Mr. Chartier, who is now a member of the armed forces, in 1933 and since that time made her home in the Capital. She was a member of the Basilica. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are two sons, Roger and Andre, at home; three daughters, Fleurette, Rita and Jacqueline Chartier, at home; three brothers, Oscar of Eastview and Hector and Elie Charbonneau of Ottawa, and five sisters, Mrs. V. Dubreuil. Mrs. P. Poirier and the Misses Aldea, Reina and Yvette Charbonneau, all of Ottawa. 5
