GLOVER Suddenly on Tuesday, December 31, 1996, John W. Glover, Windthorst, Sask., age 79 years. The funeral service will be held In the Windthorst Community Recreation Centre, Windthorst, SK, on Sunday, January 5, 1997 at 3:00 PM Rev. Vic Greenlaw officiating with interment of cremated remains in Windthorst Cemetery at a later date. Jack was predeceased by his parents: Chuck and Tena Glover, son-in-law John Christoff, two brothers: Charles and Ross Glover. Jack is survived by his loving wife Jean Glover, one daughter Donna (David) Hoover, Cranbrook, BC; two sons: Rod Glover, Windthorst, Larry (Carol) Glover, Wynyard, SK, five grandchildren: Patrick Christoff, Jody (Ranay) Jones, Michael, Jerod and Steven Glover, sister-in-law Verna Glover, Edmonton, brother-in-law Art (Jean) McBurney, Clearbrook, BC; one niece Shirley Crafton, Edmonton. GLOVER -- McBURNEY

WINDTHORST -- At the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. McBurney, Kennedy, on Oct 4, Jean Elizabeth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McBurney, became the bride of John Walter Glover, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Glover, Windthorst. Rev. J. Tupper, Kennedy, officiated. The wedding music was played by the bride's aunt Miss Ruth McLaughlin, Regina. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was lovely in a costume of turquoise blue French crepe and hat in Bordeaux wine tone. Her corsage was of sweetheart roses. Miss Margaret McBurney, sister of the bride, wearing a frock of minuet blue, with hat to match and navy blue accessories and corsage of Johanna roses was bidesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Charles G. Glover, Winnipeg. The rooms were decorated with pink spray chrysanthemums and urns of large white chrysanthemums.

A wedding dinner was served. The table, covered with a Tuscany lace cloth, was centred with a tired cake, white and silver tapers and bouquet of rose. The bride's mother wore a wild moss green frock with brown and gold hat and corsage of talisman roses; the bride's grandmother, Mrs. M. E, McLaughlin, rust and white costume with terra cotta hat and corsage of talisman roses; and the groom a mother a black brocaded crepe gown with green hat and corsage of American Beauty roses.

Mr. and Mrs. Glover left by motor for Winnipeg, where they will spend their honeymoon. On their return they will reside at Windthorst. Out-of-town guests were Mrs. M. E. McLaughlin, Miss Ruth McLaughlin, Miss Margaret McBurney, J. Staples, J. Coleman, Regina, and Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Glover, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Glover, and Mr. and Mrs. W. C. McArton, Windthorst.
